Taiyoko Zen- Shiatsu, Sound & Oriental Therapies
After the passing of Michelle’s Dad in 2012, she really started to question life and death.
She was then recommended the Pranic healing energy courses, from that moment on began her spiritual and holistic health journey. She advanced through the levels, sitting them all numerous times, eager to sustain her thirst for higher spiritual knowledge, the teachings where and still continue to be profound for her. Becoming an advanced Pranic and Crystal healer had been a major catalyst and turning point in her life where she began to see the world very differently.
From there the branches spread, leading her into the world of holistic health.
Faith and trust took over and she was guided to the ancient art of Shiatsu and Oriental therapies. Finishing the two-year diploma at the Australian Shiatsu College in Melbourne in 2015, along with 70 hours of extra training in Moxibustion and other extra curriculum offered at the College, she opened her own practice.
While visiting New Zealand in 2017 she sought out a Shiatsu practitioner for a treatment. There she found Acutonics after the practitioner used the tuning forks on her as a part of her treatment. She was amazed by these powerful frequencies running through her body and knew instantly that she needed to learn this modality. Enrolling in the next course available began her journey up and back to the Northern rivers, being taught by an incredible teacher, Eeka King of Acutonics Australia, through level One, The Sound Gates to Meridian Harmonics to level 7 of Harmonic Pathology. What is covered through these courses is nothing short of profound.
The journey continues and through Acutonics she was introduced to the power of sound frequencies and the Gong, so another avenue opened up to finding guidance and teaching using this powerful sound healing tool.
She enrolled in an intensive 10-day training with internationally renowned Kundalini teacher and Gong Master, Mehtab Benton from America where she became a practitioner in Gong therapy.
Michelle too has a deep love of animals and incorporates the tuning forks with dogs and horses. She is at present doing an Equine energy and Acupuncture course.
Michelle has spent many hours and travelled many miles learning her craft and has bought together with her own lovely unique style of treatment. It amazes her how everything she has been guided to all blends in so beautifully and all works in with the concepts of Chinese medicine, using the meridian system and acupressure points, treating the body as a whole, incorporating mind, body and spirit.
She has a special interest in Cancer support as she feels this is an area that is lacking and very much needed and gratefully received by her clients.
She lives and breaths a spiritual and holistic life with her husband and two teenage children. She considers herself an eternal student, excited about what life has to offer and open to what ever may be presented to her around the next corner.
She is based in her beautiful home town of Gisborne, Victoria, 50 minutes for the CBD.
Michelle holds a safe space and a warm heart. If interested in receiving a treatment or would like to contact Michelle for any further inquiries please feel free to contact her.
