Acutonics Australia offers professional sound healing and sound medicine training using the Acutonics® system of integrative sound medicine. The Acutonics® Healing System is an energy-based non-invasive treatment that is a sound based form of acupuncture. Precision calibrated tuning forks are applied to specific acupuncture and acupressure points to access the body’s Meridian and Chakra energy systems. These tuning forks represent a natural harmonic series based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, Sun and planets. Their rich resonance and vibration connects with and supports the body’s natural frequencies. It brings us into alignment with the cycles of the Cosmos known since antiquity as the Music of the Spheres.
Music of the Spheres
The Acutonics system is unique to other sound based modalities in that the frequencies used are the natural harmonious healing frequencies of our universe. In the 6th century BCE Pythagoras recognized that sounds are subject to mathematical laws and proportions, and were the very foundation of the Universe. Pythagoras devised the doctrine of ‘Musica Universalis’, which holds that the planets move according to mathematical equations and thus resonate to produce an inaudible symphony of music. The concept of these heavenly harmonies became known in Western culture as
‘The Music of the Spheres’.
Everything in the Universe vibrates, from the smallest particle, to the planets in our solar system, to the billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, creating patterns of geometric waveforms, frequencies, musical intervals, and sounds. In the 20th century, Hans Cousto translated the planetary velocities (that came to us through Johannes Kepler) into musical tone and frequency and in a scale (using the law of the octave) that is audible to the human hearing. This enabled tuning forks, chimes and gongs- tuned to the frequency of the cosmos to be created that would give people the ability to hear and attune to the tones of our universe and to receive the energetic vibration of the planetary signatures.

How do we send healing vibration to where it is needed?
The ancient Taoists understood that the body had rivers or pathways of energy that run through our organ systems and our body. Illness or disease is a manifestation of disharmony and discord in the flow of chi through these circuit systems. Acupuncture points are the vortices of the body, doorways to our chi/energy pathways that provide noninvasive access into the core energetic systems within the body. The voices of our heavenly spheres provide musical intervals, archetypes, and correspondences that help us to fine-tune the therapeutic frequency that is applied to the body with tuning forks.
