Hand Beaten 7 Metal Tibetan Singing Bowls

These bowls are made by villagers in Nepal and are hand beaten, using hammers & a mallet and are created with a blend of 7 different metals (Gold, Silver, Mercury, Copper, Iron, Tin, and lead). The bowl then goes through 8 different finishing processes before being shipped to Australia. Tibetan bowls are a great addition to Sound Healing sessions, massage therapy, group work and meditation due to their beautiful vibrations. Bowls are available in a Plain finish or may be etched, completely by hand, with Auspicious Symbols and ornate Tibetan designs

Hand Beaten bowls are not traditionally made to be a specific musical pitch (by todays concert pitch standards), instead they are unique and made to have multi-tonal dimensionality. The size of the bowl, the shape of the bowl, the thickness or thinness, and composition of metals give each its individual character and unique harmonics and healing properties.

Every bowl contains a rich combination of undertones and overtones that can be accentuated and refined with the type of mallet used to sound the bowl.

These Tibetan Bowls come with a cushion and timber mallet (used for singing). The best way to get a great vibration from your bowl is to strike it once with a padded mallet, rather than using the round stick method used for singing.
