Acutonics®
Acutonics is an integrated approach to health care and education that incorporates ancient Taoist teachings of the meridians, pre-meridians, and the immortal body with sound. By blending our knowledge of Oriental Medicine, Cosmological Studies, Depth Psychology, Contemporary Science, and Sound Healing principals, a powerful and innovative methodology has evolved that is deeply harmonic and spiritually based. This form of energy medicine is based on sound vibration. Acutonics is the first modality to apply the healing qualities of sound directly to the body. The powerful sounds of the Universe are brought into the therapeutic world through the use of precision calibrated planetary tuning forks and symphonic planetary gongs to help you achieve optimal health.
These tuning forks represent a natural harmonic series based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, Sun and other planets. Their rich resonance and vibration connects with and supports the body’s natural frequencies. It brings the body into alignment with the cycles of the Cosmos known since antiquity as the Music of the Spheres. This is the core of the Acutonics work. Additional tools such as chimes, planetary gongs, essential oils and Tibetan bowls are also incorporated into a session and are used with respect and care.
Precision calibrated tuning forks are applied to specific acupuncture and acupressure points to access the body’s Meridian and Chakra energy systems. The sound waves of the forks vibrate and travel deep into the body along energy pathways, affecting human physiology and reaching places not easily accessed by traditional medicine. Applying the forks stimulates and balances the body’s physical and subtle energy fields to promote healing and inner harmony. Listening to the forks speaks to us deeply by connecting with our vestibular system, within the inner ear canal, and accessing our sense of motion, balance, space, memory, and healing.
Our approach to wellness is rooted in the spiritual and wisdom traditions of Oriental Medicine, which recognizes that most diseases arise from a core blockage in our energy. Acupuncture points provide noninvasive access into the core energetic systems within the body. The planets provide musical intervals, archetypes, and correspondences that help us to fine-tune the therapeutic frequency that is applied to the body with tuning forks. We are rooted, sustained, eternally fed, and nourished by the powers of the Earth and it is our access to cosmological wisdom, the heavens, and the microcosm that sets us on a journey of transformation, reaching beyond self or the macrocosm, as above so below, as within so without.

Acutonics unique approach to sound healing embraces the concept of a musical and undivided universe. This belief is found through time, across cultures, and many spiritual traditions, where numerous references cite the power of sound to heal, create, generate, transform, and give birth to new ideas and new consciousness. The Acutonics System helps people to deepen their understanding of the profound universal connections between the natural world, body, mind, and spirit, and the role that they each play in our journey toward wholeness.
Everything in the Universe vibrates, from the smallest particle, to the planets in our solar system, to the billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, creating patterns of geometric waveforms, frequencies, musical intervals, and sounds. In Western Culture, The Music of the Spheres, or the concept of these heavenly harmonies can be traced back to 6th century BCE and Pythagoras, who recognized that sounds are subject to mathematical laws and proportions, and were the very foundation of the Universe. In the Eastern Tradition the idea that sound is the generator of the universe, may date back even further this belief is found in ancient texts from China and is fundamental to the Vedas and Hindus.
