These Tibetan Bells are made according to the traditional methods from bronze bell metal and produce a clear and lovely sound. Bells can be used for calling people together, during ceremonies and for space clearing in Feng Shui. The sound of the bell resonates to help balance the negative with the positive to harmonize one’s life and surroundings.

Symbolically a dorje represents the ‘thunderbolt of enlightenment,’ in human consciousness. Once “enlightened,” the observer can detach from the personal importance of money, romance, food and even life itself. Happiness then comes from inside — not outside — of the observer who recognises that he (or she) is part of the Creation.

The Bell and Dorje, or thunderbolt, are inseparable ritual objects in Tibetan Buddhism. They are always used in combination during religious ceremonies. This hand bell has the Dorje incorporated into its handle, so they are never separated.
